Kicking off the 2026/27 wedding season 🤍🥂
And after 18 years in events, there’s one thing I know for certain: not all wedding coordination is created equal.
Two planners can offer packages that look very similar on paper — but what you’re really investing in is the experience behind that package.
It’s knowing what needs to happen before you have to ask.
It’s spotting potential problems before they become actual problems.
It’s having trusted vendor relationships, understanding how venues operate, managing timelines that actually work, and being able to make calm, confident decisions when something inevitably changes on the day.
Because wedding coordination isn’t simply setting out place cards and checking off a run sheet.
You’re handing someone the responsibility for a day you’ve spent months — sometimes years — planning.
I’ve spent 18 years working in events, managing weddings across the South West, working alongside incredible venues and suppliers, and learning the thousand little things that make an event run seamlessly behind the scenes.
So as we head into another beautiful season, my biggest piece of advice to couples is this:
When comparing planners, don’t just compare package inclusions and price. Compare experience.
The right coordinator doesn’t just help run your wedding.
They give you the confidence to actually let go, be present and enjoy it. 🤍
