Sometimes I wish I had more time to devote to social media. Then other days I’m grateful to be too busy to post anything 😅🤣

Lately, I don’t have the spare time. There may not be an abundance of flowers with the Season finishing but what there is…

👉 Digging
👉 Weeding
👉 Tilling
👉 Planting
👉 Trimming
👉 Digging
👉 Storing
👉 Creating
👉 Teaching

So in short, there’s A LOT going on! The highlights include attending Veggies & Wedgies and assisting little ones to plant their own seeds and bulbs to take home and grow. What a fantastic event it was. We donated all of the resources and repurposed seedling pots to recycle. A bit of exposure. And some Remote Area Nurse training. 18th Birthdaying! Cramming it in! 👌

I can quote numbers of Tulips, Daffodils, Sweetpeas, Ranunculus but the numbers mean nothing until the plants emerge 😅

Anyway, it’s all happening! I’m still trying to get Anna Smith to get in contact for her wonderful prize. Hope you see this Anna!

As the Dahlias show their signs of finishing up, going to seed and blowing out, I get to enjoy them on my kitchen table 🩷🌸 Loving it! 🩷

The bees are totally here for it and the field is an absolute bee haven! Days are definitely numbered though but there’s still a few well formed Dahlias amongst the field.

And this Autumn weather, *swoon*, one of my favourite times of year. The colours in the trees and the totally exaggerated and extended golden hour is just magical 🧡🤎💛

You know those days where you feel like you got to order the perfect weather? Today was one of those. And what perfect company to spend it with! 🫶

Our inaugural Autumn Flower Crown Festival (we’re calling it a Festival 😉) took place today. An absolutely gorgeous bunch of people joined me today to learn to make fresh flower crowns and take a stroll through the patch and pick some blooms.

We laughed, we shared, we sipped, we got creative. I loved how there were very few people who knew each other before they got here, and there were even some reconnections from the past!

We talked growing and we talked collecting seed. What I loved was that everyone is keen to do something like this again. So we will! I’ve got Spring in mind as Autumn starts to wind down into Winter and the Dahlias go back to sleep.

Thanks to all that came, it was such a perfect Sunday spent in perfect company 🩷 I also got to show off my new work pants. Stay tuned for an opportunity to score yourself some Lickity Split love 😉🩷
