📢 URGENT SCAM WARNING! 📢

Artiste Films is issuing an urgent warning about a serious scam targeting individuals, and it involves our friends at Fikri Films Pty Ltd.

We have been informed that scammers falsely representing Fikri Films are contacting people with a deceptive proposal. They are sending letters, complete with Fikri Films logos, to individuals asking for substantial financial contributions to "fund" a filmmaking and production course for local people. These fraudulent actors are falsely claiming partnerships with successful acting and production talent who are supposedly ready to produce this course. We understand one individual was even asked for a staggering $45,000!

Artiste Films is absolutely appalled by this predatory scam.

We want to clearly state to our valued customers and the wider community that Artiste Films will NEVER solicit direct funding from individuals in this manner.

Our financial transactions are strictly for work already completed. For our original creative projects, we will ONLY ever use recognised crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe or Kickstarter. **We will never approach individuals via mail requesting large sums of money to "fund" initiatives.**

Please be extremely cautious! If you receive any communication, especially via mail, claiming to be from Artiste Films or mentioning Fikri Films and requesting significant funds to support a course or any other project, **it is a scam.** Do not engage with these individuals or send them any money.

I take great pride in my work, especially for something as delicate as a service. It's not just about capturing beautiful audio and clear imagery, it's about dressing nicely, being respectful, taping down cables, and being on time. A service, like the one I set up for here, only goes for about an hour, but with 3 cameras, an internet source, and our own wired in microphone, that's a 2 hour set up. I thought you might like to see some of the work that goes on behind the scenes.
