Including a toast in your wedding ceremony gives you an opportunity to cultivate an heirloom tradition for your marriage. Select a beautiful wine box (or make your own), add a ceremonial bottle of your drink of choice (whisky, sparking) and open it on your first wedding anniversary. Then repeat - each anniversary for the rest of your lives.
So many heirloom items you can keep in the box:
- handwritten letters to each other
- old concert tickets
- old photos
- babies locks of hair
- birth certificates
- passports

Basically it’s the family treasure and the first thing you grab when the house is on 🔥
