One of our favourite venue friends Joel has passed away. Was only chatting to him a couple weeks back. Always up for talking music and a real pleasure to have Inhouse over many years.
Not only did he love the heavier gigs but Joel also taught himself lapsteel Blues which I thought was epic. Never afraid of a schooner or two either! Dropped him at the clubs in a taxi a few times after a MO’s event.
The lad gave life his all on the back of considerable challenge and we will definitely miss him.
All fresh, but if anyone wants to help out in band world etc, we’d love to get a celebration of life and fundraiser happening for the family in time.
Live like Joel. RIP buddy 🖤
