Don’t mind me … just enjoying my first loaf from the micro bakery in Wamboin ! Woolshed Lane Sourdough = yum.

It feels pretty special to me to pick up my fresh loaf of bread while on my dog walk … in sunshine, after rain. It is a very good day !

I am beyond grateful to everyone who’s helped get the kitchen trailer crowdfunder to this point. It’s incredible, and mind blowing for me. I’ve got a lotta work to do and a lotta money to put in myself, and I’m so excited (and a little nervous) about this amazing adventure !

Pomegranate has been a star of the meals I’ve been serving over the last week. What a delight she is !

With basmati rice and plenty of fresh herbs. With cumin roast pumpkin.

Yesterday’s Long Lunch was a fantastic time, thank you to everyone who shared the day with us, and especially to the Southern Harvest Association volunteers. I was too busy making food and talking about food and farming and the impacts of our choices to take photos, but here’s one after everyone was on the farm tour at Branch & Burrow

What a privilege the weekend was - holding space for Spring Equinox Grief Circle with Ink and Insight - Art Therapy and Counselling . It was a journey of healing, creativity, and connection. Together, we moulded our emotions into clay, giving tangible form to the sorrow and memories that often remain unspoken.

In the process of washing our hands clean after working with the clay, we symbolically washed away the layers of grief that no longer serve us - allowing us to honour our past and embrace the present with a newfound sense of peace.

To everyone who shared their stories and artistry this weekend, thank you for your vulnerability and courage. These moments of shared creativity remind us that we are not alone in our grief, and that it is possible to transform pain into something beautiful.
