About the Role
We are a mission-driven takeaway and catering business dedicated to providing nutritious meals to the elderly and disabled members of our community. Working with over 40 providers, we maintain the highest health and food safety standards. We are looking for a highly motivated, "turn-up-and-go" team member with a genuine love for good food and a passion for helping others.
Key Details
Hours: 10โ20 hours per week to start.
Location: Bundaberg
Award wages.
Shifts may occur from Monday to Friday 8 am till 2pm. Occasionally a Saturday morning shift.
We are supporting vulnerable community members through quality meal service.
Your Responsibilities
Food Preparation & (some) Cooking: Assist in prepararation of meals that meet specific dietary requirements.
Kitchen Operations: Handle cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining a scrupulously clean and hygienic workspace in line with food safety programs.
Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional service to our providers and community members.
Compliance: Ensure all tasks follow established food safety and personal hygiene standards. A food and health safety certification is a must.
All-Rounder Duties: Assist with stock rotation, unloading deliveries, and general housekeeping as needed.
