📢 SURGERY UPDATE – June 2026

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update to let you all know that I have now officially received my surgery date, which is scheduled for 15th June 2026.

As many of you already know, I’ll be undergoing ankle surgery and will be focusing on recovery over the coming months. While recovery will take some time, I want to reassure everyone that plans are already in place to minimise disruptions wherever possible.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and ongoing support during this period. Your support means more than you know.

Please note:
📍 Response times may be slightly delayed at times throughout recovery
📍 Existing bookings and enquiries will continue to be managed
📍 Further updates will be provided closer to surgery and during recovery

📢 SURGERY UPDATE – Smithies Karaoke & DJ Hire

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update regarding my upcoming ankle surgery scheduled for June 2026. As many of you know, this recovery period will put me out of action physically for approximately 3 months, with doctors advising that I will be completely NON weight bearing until around September.

Firstly — please do not worry about your bookings.
ALL existing bookings are proceeding as planned and absolutely NO bookings are being cancelled. I’ve already put plans in place to ensure operations continue smoothly because as I always say… business never stops. 🎤🎶

Please note:
📍 I will be unavailable on 26th May while attending my Pre-Surgery appointment in Brisbane in preparation for surgery next month.

During recovery:
• Email communication will remain active
• Voicemails will NOT be checked
• If you call, you will be directed to voicemail

There is no need to contact me regarding existing bookings unless absolutely necessary — everything is still locked in and moving ahead as normal.
