To everyone who came out to the Melbourne Hard Trance Reunion on Saturday, hoping to catch me on the main stage (many of you reached out in real time) — I am so incredibly sorry that I couldn’t get there.
As some of you may have heard, I was involved in a car accident on my way to the event. I’m pleased to say that no one was injured, however the time it took to deal with the situation meant I was unable to make my set — and believe me, I was the most disappointed person in that building.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the event promoters Hard Kandy Trent McDermott Scott Smith for their professionalism and understanding in what was a difficult situation. Their decision to arrange a closing set for me in the PhD room at midnight was an incredibly thoughtful gesture, and one I did not take for granted. To everyone who came through for that set — thank you. You showed up for me when it counted, and I won’t forget that.
To those who reached out with kind words and messages of concern — please know that I am completely fine and genuinely moved by your support. This community continues to remind me why I do what I do.
I look forward to being back on stage and giving you everything I’ve got, very soon.
With gratitude,
Amber Savage
