Two Sisters on Wheels Bounded by their love for Lao cuisine, the two sisters bring forth their dream of sharing Lao and Thai cuisine to restaurant market in Canberra.

Raised in a small village in Champasack, Southern Laos, Naly and Sisouk were exposed to the art of cooking and preparing authentic Laotian food at a very young age. Determined to incorporate as much of their mother’s traditional receipts into their menu as possible, both Naly and Sisouk are passionate about recreating the homely atmosphere where good home cooking is enjoyed and cherished by all th

at are dining. The two sisters opened their first restaurant in Mawson in 1996. While it proved to be a small venture, the small eatery was modest success and the opportunity for the sisters to expand to Dickson. Since Two Sisters Lao Thai Cuisine Dickson’s opening in 1998, the two sisters have spend almost two decades experimenting, modifying and perfecting their dishes. Now with a second restaurant in Civic, the sisters aim to continue impressing their enthusiasm for the Lao and Thai Cuisine for many more decades in the future. Both Naly and Sisouk hope that all lovers of both Lao and Thai cuisine rediscover the joy of home cooking Two Sisters’ style.

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE — TWO SISTERS POP UP 🚨

Just a quick update from the Two Sisters team ❤️

🌴 BROULEE FOOD TRUCK IS STILL OPEN!
We are trading 5 nights a week, closed only Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

From 19 July to 30 August 2026, Two Sisters Pop Up will not be trading at:

📍 Long Beach
📍 Tuross Head
📍 Dalmeny

We’ll keep everyone updated right here on our page with any changes and where you can find us next.
