What an honour 🤍

A few months ago, Larissa & Leonardo celebrated BIG — a huge, joy-filled wedding in 🎉Rio de Janeiro. My beautiful friend was flown from Perth back to his homeland to add his sparkly, soulful, fun magic to their celebrations.

Once the party dust settled, it was time to make things officially official back home here in QLD. And I was so honoured when Eddie asked me to step in and do the deeds for him.

So today, very casually, at a local café… they became husband and wife.

We sipped coffees ☕️
Planned a massive Brazilian BBQ 🔥
Their son ate a croissant bigger than his head 🥐

And somewhere in between all of that — they got married. (Thanks to some obliging waitresses who stepped in as witnesses.)

We FaceTimed Eddie. He 🥹cried. (Obviously.)

My heart is very, very full 💛 what a great day.

Last Thursday on a mountaintop high above Toowoomba - Tim & Ryan said 💍 I DO!

As the crowds magically rolled across the valley, these two rolled down the aisle in front of a crowd of cheering friends and family and it was all sorts of wonderful!

I loved marrying you two! 🤵🤵

Congratulations to two of the most beautiful souls - I wish you a lifetime of happpiness together. 💕

"Sarah epitomises kindness, love, care and generosity. My husband (thanks to Sarah) and I had a cyclone postpone our wedding and at the drop of a hat Sarah was there to help us, she had never met us before but she made us feel so much warmth, care, and comfort.

We immediately felt completely at ease and knew how wonderfully our day would go with her expertise, and kind words. She melted away our nerves and replaced them with love and excitement and she was there for everything we needed.

On our wedding day, halfway through our ceremony it rained, Sarah didn’t skip a beat. We ran into a barn and she finished the ceremony like nothing happened, at the expense of herself she made our ceremony magical, it was truly the best moment of our lives and without her resilience, kindness and warmth our wedding day wouldn’t have been as magical as it was.

Spoiler alert: the sausage didn’t exactly work its magic 🌧️ BUT honestly the rainy day was pure magic and Gretta and Zak's wedding was the best ✨

The vibe? Iconic. Everyone in sleek black attire, the bride stood out like a goddess in white, and the venue? .lodge, A dreamy, all-white wonderland that made every moment look straight out of a magazine. 🖤🤍

Rain or shine, this was a day to remember. Pro tip: Forget the weather forecast—just bring the sausage sacrifice and your best celebratory vibes. Guaranteed perfection. 😉

💍 I’M STILL A MARRIAGE CELEBRANT! 🎉

So, last week we said goodbye to being Directors of our beloved wedding business ’ (which was a Celebrant Membership, Directory, Government Representation with the Attorney General’s office, Community of legends and much more. 🥳…)

After last weeks announcement- I've been inuandated with messages asking if I’m still a celebrant.

The answer is… a resounding YES OF COURSE I’M STILL A MARRIAGE CELEBRANT. 🙌 🙌🙌
....Oh and to my little friend Zali, I’m actually not a Priest.( I actually never was, but your mums message did made me LOL. Also thanks Virginia for saying I am 👑a High Priestess instead – I’ll take that.

🎉 T W E L V E 🎉

This week I racked up twelve years as a Marriage celebrant. 🥂✨ I feel very grateful, it’s been a privilege to be a part of so many couples' special moments. 💍💖

These 12 years have brought me so much joy, not just from the weddings I've conducted but also from the wonderful friendors I've had the pleasure of meeting, particularly other celebrants.

Creating 8 years ago alongside my good friend Anna, has introduced me to so many amazing and dedicated celebrants.💖

The celebrant community in Australia is filled with passionate, creative, and supportive individuals, and I couldn't be prouder to call myself a part of it. 🌟 And to call so many of you genuine friends.

So thank you to all the couples who have entrusted me with their special day, and to my fellow celebrants who continue to inspire everyday.

When I first chatted with Georgia she mentioned she was thinking of riding the other man in her life, (her horse Donny 🐴) down the aisle alongside her Dad.

My response went along the lines of

🖤VANESSA & MICHAEL 🖤

For his first introduction to nurse Vanessa, Michael did what every good medical rep aims to
do – he undersold and over delivered.

Vanessa believes his original pick up line was to the affect of, "So, Amy said you were thinking of making some poor life choices and recommended I introduce myself." 😂

I guess his love for making funny jokes paid off... 5 years later they started planning a wedding instead of a wild night out. And what a wedding it was.

Turns out.... Michael is really good at jokes and at choices, turns out Vanessa was the best choice ever!

It was such a hoot to be the celebrant and emcee for these two at the beautiful . Now can you just take a moment for the florals.... 😮 Wow!

Sheryl and Ali set the bar high when he serenaded her at the reception…. She played the ball right back into his court when she performed a traditional taualuga dance. 👏

It was my honour to make these two beautiful souls husband and wife!

We combined her Philippino and his Samoan heritage along with some lovely storytelling and their love of God…. And it all made for the most loved up ceremony!

This love story is seriously worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster! (Sooooo romantic.)

Congratulations S + A - I felt very proud to marry you two and to have played a role in the most magical of days.
