Today one of my beautiful brides surprised me with flowers as a thank you for helping with her wedding journey, and honestly, I was completely blown away.

When I started Veils & Vows Bridal, my goal was never just to plan weddings. It was to be that calm voice when things feel overwhelming, the person who answers the late night questions, helps solve problems, celebrates the wins, and supports couples every step of the way.

Receiving these flowers reminded me why I love what I do so much. Being trusted with one of the most important days of someone’s life is something I never take for granted.

Planning a wedding should feel exciting, not overwhelming 🤍
At Veils & Vows, I created my planning, coordination and Dress Concierge services because I saw how many couples feel lost at the beginning of their wedding journey. There are so many decisions, so many vendors, and suddenly everyone has an opinion. It can feel like a lot.
The best place to start is with the foundation of your wedding
• Choose a date or season
• Set a rough budget
• Start looking at venues
• Find a celebrant who feels right for you both
Once those are locked in, the rest of your vendors will start to fall into place.
When booking vendors, it should feel comfortable and exciting. You should feel supported, listened to and confident in the people you are choosing to be part of your wedding day. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and take the time to make sure they are the right fit for you.
Some really important things couples should do before booking vendors:
• Ask to see full portfolios or galleries, not just highlight photos
• Have a meeting or phone call to see if you connect with them
• Read reviews from past couples
• For hair and makeup artists, ask about trial appointments so you feel confident in your look
• Ask about their communication and planning process so you know what support you will receive leading up to the day
• Make sure their style and personality align with your vision
Your vendors should feel like a team around you. People who guide you, support you and help take the pressure off so you can actually enjoy being engaged.
That’s where Veils & Vows comes in.
