Only 7 seats remain on our 2027 Hawaii & Las Vegas Tour.

One of the things we’ve heard from people who have travelled with us before is that these tours become about so much more than the destination.

You might arrive not knowing everyone, but you’re experiencing it together — the footy, the laughs, the sightseeing, the stories and all those moments in between that you can’t really plan for.

That’s what makes a group tour like this different.

🎣 Supporting the event. Strengthening the committee.

With the 2026 Gold Coast Flathead Classic fast approaching, we’re proud to once again be working alongside the Gold Coast Sportfishing Club and the incredible committee behind this much-loved event.

From the beginning, one thing has been important to us:

The Classic remains the committee’s event.

Our role isn’t to take over what volunteers and the fishing community have spent years building. It’s to work alongside them — providing the event-management systems, operational support and extra capacity needed to bring their vision to life.

As community events grow, so does everything happening behind the scenes. Our partnership helps take some of that operational pressure off the committee while keeping their knowledge, traditions and connection to the community at the heart of the event.

With the countdown now well and truly on, we’re looking forward to seeing months of planning come together for another incredible Gold Coast Flathead Classic.

Maybe this is the year you stop saying, “One day.”

One day I’ll take that trip.
One day I’ll do something like that.
One day, when life isn’t quite so busy.

But sometimes, you just have to decide to go.

In February 2027, a small group will travel from Brisbane to Hawaii and Las Vegas for 11 days with IN SPORT and Lacey Events.

Yes, there’ll be sport. Yes, there’ll be incredible destinations.

But if our previous tours have taught us anything, it’s that people come home talking just as much about the friendships, conversations, laughter and unexpected moments shared along the way.

Our latest story explores what happens when “one day” becomes “I’m going.”

Places for the 2027 Las Vegas & Hawaii Tour are already filling, with only limited availability remaining.

An event might last a day. Its impact can last much longer.

When events choose to buy local, the investment doesn’t simply disappear when the gates close.

It supports local businesses.
Creates opportunities for local suppliers.
Keeps more spending within the community.
And helps build relationships that can continue well beyond the event itself.

That’s why buying local matters.

It’s not just about where something is purchased — it’s about where the impact stays.

Why do people remember a journey long after they’ve returned home?

It’s rarely because of a destination alone.

The most memorable experiences are often shaped by the people we meet, the conversations we have and the connections we build along the way.

As we prepare for our 2027 Las Vegas & Hawaii Tour—featuring Hawaii for the very first time—we’ve taken the opportunity to reflect on the philosophy that has guided our sporting tours.

Proudly delivered by Lacey Events and IN Sport, in partnership with the Arthur Beetson Foundation and its Future Immortals program, our tours are designed to bring people together through shared experiences that extend well beyond the itinerary.

Our latest article explores why the destination is only one part of the journey.
