What a festival ✨✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Clancestry 2026 – from the artists and communities who shared their stories, culture and creativity, to every audience member who gathered with us across QPAC and the Festival Ground.

From powerful performances and live music to family fun, markets and cultural experiences, it was wonderful to celebrate First Nations arts and culture with you.

Clancestry returns in 2028. In the meantime, we’ll continue to bring incredible First Nations artists and stories to QPAC throughout the year.

✨ What a way to open Clancestry 2026.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for First Gathering on Friday night, celebrating First Nations culture, community and connection on South Bank's Cultural Forecourt.

The festival continues this week with Gunawarra Re-Creation, Barragga Yangga (Many Songs), Troy Cassar-Daley, before finishing with Yothu Yindi on Saturday.

There's still time to experience Clancestry before it returns in 2028.
