I used to scroll past the big names in this industry and wonder if I’d ever “catch up.” The huge teams, the warehouses, the follower counts.

Then a mum messages me months after her daughter’s party just to say she still looks at the photos. Or a client books me again, and again. And I realised that’s the only scoreboard I actually care about.

For EmpowHERxo | Women's Community & Events I styled a “Leave Her a Message” phone station, an Empowher photo frame and a mirror moment, all made for women to stop, play and connect.

My favourite part? Watching someone pick up that phone and leave something kind for a woman she might never meet 🥹

A room full of women choosing connection over competition. 💗

That’s exactly what the EmpowHERxo | Women's Community & Events event felt like, women showing up, sharing their stories, backing each other and creating genuine connection without the usual pressure to compete.

I loved being able to bring the styling and interactive moments to life for a space that was already filled with so much energy, confidence and community.

Because the best rooms aren’t just beautiful to look at… they make people feel something.

With so many new faces here lately, I think it’s time I properly reintroduce myself 🤍

I’m Catherine, the face behind Social Soirée Society.

Around here you’ll see the beautiful finished setups… but you’ll also see everything that happens before them.

The van loads.
The late nights.
The balloon prep.

The “this is absolutely not working” moments 😂
The last minute problem solving.
And that feeling when I finally stand back and see an idea I had in my head come to life.

I started Social Soirée Society because I genuinely love creating moments people remember, whether that’s a baby shower, milestone birthday, wedding, corporate event or brand activation.

But this page has become about more than just pretty setups.

I want to show you the events, the process behind them, and what it actually looks like building a creative business in real time, the wins, the lessons, the growth and occasionally the chaos behind the scenes.
