A huge shoutout to the incredibly talented photographer Brian from Your Story Images | Brisbane Wedding Photographer who I worked with last weekend at Bonnie & Tuan’s wedding at Wynmère Estate - Destination Wedding Venue

Brian didn’t miss a single moment, he captured all the feelings so authentically and his natural style resulted in photos that will instantly transport the couple back to their wedding day in many years to come.

He was amazing to work with, easy communication and very professional. Highly recommend him to couples searching for that perfect photographer for their special day.

I definitely have a soft spot for these sweethearts, Leanne and Rob got married today in the privacy of their home with their closest witnessing this beautiful moment.

I first met them when we farewelled her gorgeous daughter who sadly passed away in April this year so it was very special to play a part in marrying them today.
They are two of the most authentic humans I have ever met and it was a lovely day.

Congratulations Rob and Leanne, I wish you happiness, love & abundance for your life together. 😍

🦋🦋 Naming Ceremony 🦋

Today we officially named Hudson and welcomed him into his family and loving community of friends.

His parents organised a beautiful ‘Sand Pouring’ ritual with his siblings, parents, aunt and godmother adding sand into the crystal decanter that was his great grandfathers. And when he is 18 they will empty the decanter and fill it with top shelf bourbon. Love it!

This beautiful little boy has his first birthday in 4 days so they had double celebrations today. A close couple of the parents asked if I remembered a wedding from 2023, Mikaela & Scott as Dan was their best man & of course I did so it’s lovely how being the local celebrant results in seeing so many familiar faces.

Before Kate & Tom booked me they asked “how are you with young kids & a bit of chaos?”
More than fine! I explained having 3 sons has conditioned me to handle absolutely anything when it comes to to kids & just rolling with it.

OMG I have to say I wasn’t prepared for how funny this was going to be if I’m honest. We had three little 2 year olds including their son Billy running around the ceremony space crying for their parents who were the bride & groom and a few of the bridesmaids so that’s was happening mid ceremony…..absolutely fine….but then there was a big splash and the little girl fell head first, full body into the pond in front of all the guests! I turned to see one of the men half in the pond fetching her out then the dad running around the guests with his soaking daughter. (No one was injured)

Seriously, the whole bridal party was in stitches & I couldn’t help but giggle. It was a beautiful chaos. Kate just said to me “I told you it would be crazy” 😂

Loved every minute of marrying this down-to-earth couple.

Maddie & Tom wanted a no fuss, easy and quick wedding so chose to do a ‘Legals Only’ in their room at the Sheraton Mirage on the Gold Coast last night with their 2 closest friends as witnesses.

They were married in 5 minutes, we signed the paperwork and off they went to celebrate with cocktails and a lovely dinner.
It was perfect for them!

Candy and Ron chose to get married in a simple ‘Legals Only’ ceremony for a few reasons, they are welcoming their little boy into their family in 2weeks and instead of spending thousands of dollars on a wedding they love travelling so want to invest this money into a big family holiday in Italy late next year with their adorable daughter Lilly and son.

This is the 4th ‘Legals Only’ ceremony I’ve done this year and it’s only February so they are increasingly popular and I completely understand why…..they can be performed in the comfort of couples homes with just their loved ones as witnesses, it’s affordable and so easy.
