Reka Zalan is a Berlin-based DJ with a faible for hypnotic depth and percussive drive — always tuned to atmosphere and often drawn to the gloomier sides of Techno. Fresh from her latest set for Berghain’s Klubnacht, we invite her to showcase her sound, honed and recognised through her residencies at Tresor and ://about blank, and off the dancefloor as part of the record store team, and co-host of .berlin and ://elements

Joining her is local legend . A staple of our community, Jamie earned his recognition through his extensive curation experience as both a selector and event organiser

Introducing New Faces: ’s event series aimed at showcasing emerging talent from one of the fastest growing scenes in Australia.

For our first edition on Friday 12 Dec, we have selected several artists at varying stages of their DJ journeys, all of whom will be making their first Dissent appearance.

It will also be our first show at the iconic , a beloved spot for late night electronic music

As Australia's leading artist in the space of delicate, polyrhthmic techno; Hasvat has accumulated a global reputation amongst the most respected underground scenes in Europe and Asia; having performed at the likes of RAUM, Bassiani, Stone Techno Festival and Berghain over the past 18 months, as well as memorable sets at A3 and Pitch in Australia.

Joining him is Mikalah Watego, fresh off sets at Haven and Subclub; alongside No Time standout Pusky, and an integral figure of Meanjin's bona fide techno scene, Talat.
