Now that it has been a few weeks since our Brisbane event, we want to show you what you may have missed! 😽

We are so happy to have brought together so many different creatives to celebrate cosplay, community, and sustainability together. We hope you were able to learn something new, pick up something you needed for a project, meet some new friends, or just had fun! 💙

The Cosplay Market board are pleased to present Cosplay Sustainability and You at Oz Comic-Con Brisbane this Sunday at 145pm! 💙

We will discuss all the different ways you can implement sustainable practise into cosplay, whether you want to make props and armour, hand sew your cosplay, or purchase one! There’s sure to be a handy tip or trick you can take home with you 😸 We will also generally chat about the importance of sustainability and making a difference in the community.

Don’t forget that we will also be running a free cosplay exchange and helping out at cosplay repair all weekend if you have any further questions! See you there 💕

CALLING HUNGRY COSPLAYERS IN BRISBANE/LOGAN 😋 Cosplay Market has a Local Matters jar at Grill'd Healthy Burgers Logan for the month of September! 🙀🍔

If you don’t know what local matters is, when you buy a burger at Grill’d you receive a token that you can place in one of three jars to support a local community organisation. This month, we are one of those lucky orgs! The jar with the most tokens receives $300 😽

If you have a burger craving, why not support your local cosplay org at the same time? 💕 Only a few weeks left!!!

Brisbane!!! Have you been missing us already? 😽 Do not fret! We are hosting a FREE COSPLAY EXCHANGE at Oz Comic-Con next week, the 19th and 20th of September 🎉

Drop off anything cosplay related you are no longer using and we will take it off your hands and place it on our table! Donations are not required to take anything from the table entirely for FREEEEEE 🩷 We will be in the cosplay area helping out Captain Patch-It | Cosplay Repair with cosplay repair.

THANK YOU BRISBANE!!
Yesterday we held our biggest Cosplay Market yet, with the most vendors, the most attendees, and our largest charity donation! 🌟

It is an absolute joy to bring this community together and promote sustainability. Thank you to all of the incredible coordinators on this team who work so hard behind the scenes to make Cosplay Market a reality 😸

Our volunteers were awesome and we couldn’t operate without them! Big big thank you to your awesome work and support! To everyone who joined us a vendor, thank you for sharing your creativity. To our cosplay merchants, thank you for bringing your stash to find loving homes!

This was our first event to feature workshops! I absolutely love this new level of skill sharing we have space to achieve. I’m so grateful to The Sewing Lair , Kristian Schutz , Fern/Haylee and 🫀𝔐𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔯 𝔊𝔬𝔯𝔢🫀 for running these workshops with us!

These funds will be donated to , a charity dedicated to providing support, dignity and hope to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
