White, fresh green and deep burgundy. A trending wedding palette we loved bringing to life in Byron Bay for L+J, through sculptural calls lilies and cascading tulips.

Looking ahead to 2027, we see this palette evolving with richer w**e tones, layered greens and more expressive floral shapes.

The artistry of wedding florals is in the little details-the curve of a stem, the balance of colour, the way each bloom draws your eye to the next.

I created these ceremony arrangements to feel sculptural and full of movement, while sitting beautifully beneath the trees at Fins Plantation House. A setting as memorable as the moment itself 🙌🏻

Louisa’s bouquet featuring the best of what’s seasonal and moody-dripping andromeda, shapely calla lilies, dahlias, ranuncs and juicy anthuriums 🖤

Circa 2018, Camperdown Sydney-have you ever seen anyone more stoked to be holding a delicious branch of flowering smoke bush?! This is me, having shots taken in preparation for my own website as I was preparing to come home and start Wildplay Flora 🖤

It’s the little contrasts for me-delicate cream ranunculi and roses beside rich burgundy hellebores and sims, with green hellebores adding an unexpected touch. Which detail catches your eye first?

Creating lush tablescapes for brands is what we do between working with couples tying the knot. Such different work experiences, but ones we love just the same. Planning your brand activation or end of year soirée? Look no further, we’ve got you!

Designing Karmyn and Brad’s wedding florals around their Scottish highland tartan gave me the opportunity to use colour blocking with these really punchy tones, giving an equally punchy effect.
As ever, creating in my favourite Brisbane venue, Bundaleer Gardens is such a treat 🍃
