Had a little fun with this one.

Love that my family not only allow me to be the creative director that I am but that they TRUST my vision before they see it.

So, When Latrice was approached by Timberland, I knew what I wanted and how this would help her and the brand. It was important to me to feature the man in her life. Her dada and her brother.

And of course I educated her about the history of the boot and it’s part in the hip hop scene.

If you’re in brisbane, come dance with this artist. Every Friday night @ 7:30pm

Shaheem is not a just dance teacher, he is much bigger than that. He is an artist who creates magic. I’ve said this to him plenty of times, but as choreographer he has an eye and the ability to bring out every beat, run and lyric and feel / mood of the music and put it in his choreography so effortlessly. If you have ever seen him at WORK you will see that ARTISTS and DIRECTORS love him. Shaheem makes their work so light and easy. He is intelligent and passionate about what he does.

Come see what he does best and be cooped up in his world for an hour every Friday night.

I miss this. Given that we had no training ourselves and Michel and I had never stepped into a dance school as students to learn, not to mention that we were starved for good teachers in Australia, let alone teachers that could reach and teach people like us, we became our own and created our own lane. we didn’t do too bad.

I’m proud of what we were able to achieve through out the years.
When other crews called themselves ”FAMILY”, we were Legit, THE FAMILY that welcomed anyone that wanted to be part of ours with open arms.
