Why We Started Happiness Hangout ❤️

This is exactly why we started Happiness Hangout.

We wanted to create a place where people could connect, feel comfortable being themselves, try something new and build confidence without feeling judged.

Sometimes what people need isn't another appointment, another screen or another place where they have to “fit in”.

Sometimes they just need somewhere to hang out.

Happiness Hangout was created around a simple idea:

Connection matters.

Whether you're a teenager trying to find your people, a parent looking for somewhere positive for your child, or an adult who simply wants to get out and meet others — we want Happiness Hangout to be that place.

A place to come as you are.

No pressure. No pretending. Just people, connection and a bit of fun.

That's the reason we started Happiness Hangout. ❤️

If you know a young person aged 17 to 25 who is neurodivergent or living with disability and is looking to build confidence, meaningful connections and a greater sense of belonging in their community, this opportunity from CRU - Community Resource Unit Ltd. (CRU) may be worth exploring. 💙

The 'From Presence to Contribution' program is a 12-month journey that includes:
✨ Capacity-building workshops
✨ One-on-one mentoring and coaching
✨ Leadership opportunities
✨ Support to develop goals and become more connected with their community

For many parents, carers, family and kin, finding the right opportunities for a young person can feel overwhelming. We hope sharing programs like this helps make that search a little easier.
