BIG GAY DAY UPDATE

After 25 incredible years of Big Gay Day, we’re shaking things up a little in 2026.

BIG GAY DAY will now take place on Sunday 4 October (King’s Birthday Long Weekend).

And we’re bringing it back to its roots as BIG GAY DAY : STREET PARTY - celebrating the wild, colourful street party energy that made it iconic in the first place. Fully reimagined for 2026 as we celebrate 26 years of Big Gay Day.

But we’re not leaving May behind…

LITTLE GAY DAY : BLOCK PARTY Sunday 3 May 2026 (Labour Day Long Weekend)

Taking over the original Big Gay Day weekend and creating a full venue takeover at The Wickham.

Two huge celebrations.

Slip, Slop, Slay Newcastle — it’s time to get OUTRAGEOUS! I'm thrilled to join forces with the Disco Crew (aka my besties Mason & Timberlina) for our very first outdoor Block Party!
