𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝑾𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓!🏔️

The last shoot of the year was a concept I’ve been dreaming of creating for so long. Every time I tried, something got in the way—until now. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait.

A massive shoutout to Jodie, Taylor, Mark, Gabbi, Toby, Kristy, and my amazing husband Mark, who not only supported this adventure but quite literally supported me—hauling my ass down the last 1/4 of the mountain in the dark after I rolled my left ankle and did my right knee. (Okay, I walked… but barely! But Mark carried all the gear😅)

Mountains are my playground for creativity, my happy place, and my muse. I couldn’t have brought this vision to life without these adventurous souls by my side. What a way to end the year—with laughter, mishaps, and magic. Here’s to more mountains, more creativity, and fewer injuries in the new year. 😉

Some days, it really hits me how incredibly lucky I am to do what I do. Sure, I get paid for it, but this “job” is so much more than just work to me. Every wedding, every elopement, every intimate moment I capture is a chance to give back, to celebrate love in all its beautiful, diverse forms.
I don’t take a single moment of this lightly—each click of the shutter is filled with intention, with care, and with pure joy.
Last week, I had the absolute honour of photographing Brooke and Baylie’s secret elopement, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of spectacular! 🌈✨ Their love story is one of resilience, laughter, and deep, unconditional love. The way they looked at each other, the way they smiled, and how they truly saw one another was pure magic. After eight amazing years together, Micheal decided it was the perfect time to pop the question, and it was absolutely magical!
On a dreamy trip to Bali in February 2023, they stayed at the stunning Maya Resort in Ubud. Michael planned a day of pampering that was pure romance. As night fell, they headed to a beautifully decorated spot for dinner, unaware it was all set up just for them. 🌸

The surprise? Michael had arranged for a custom menu and the ring appeared inside a carved coconut—he even managed to bring it on the plane! The ring was the exact one from their vision board. 💍

Here’s to love that surprises and delights, making dreams come true in the most enchanting ways!

Brooke and Baylie first met on a camping trip organized by a mutual friend. While surrounded by the great outdoors, Baylie made a lasting impression. After months of chatting, he took a bold step—sneaking into Brooke’s room at 2am and asking her to be his girlfriend.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Their love has been tested and strengthened over the years. Two years ago, Brooke faced a challenging accident that left her with a permanent disability. But Baylie stood by her side through every tear and triumph. He was her rock, her biggest cheerleader, and the one who held her close during countless moments of struggle and healing. Brooke’s journey to recovery, including learning to walk again, was made easier with Baylie’s unwavering support and love. For this, she will forever be grateful.
On their special day, Brooke’s unique touch shone through with her custom-designed white crocs—a symbol of her resilience and creativity. They chose to keep their elopement intimate with just 10 cherished guests at The Old Dairy Maleny, a picturesque backdrop that perfectly captured their love.

The celebration continued last night with a reception on the Gold Coast, surrounded by all their loved ones. From their heartfelt vows to their lively reception, Brooke and Baylie’s story is a beautiful testament to enduring love and unwavering support.
