A beautiful wedding doesn’t have to cost the Earth - literally.

Weddings are magical and they can also be surprisingly wasteful.

The average celebration produces over 180kg of waste and emits more than 60 tonnes of CO₂.
Mostly this is from travel, food waste, unsustainable florals and single use decor.

But here's the good news, with a few intentional choices your wedding can still be every bit as beautiful and be gentler on the planet.

Simple swaps like:
✅ Choosing local, seasonal florals
✅ Skipping disposables
✅ Working with eco-conscious vendors

It’s been a minute! I’ve been away from social media and my business for a little bit.

So why the hiatus you ask, well, let me fill you in!

As I launched On This Day Events, all the pieces in my work and family life were aligned and I was ready to take myself and my business to the next level, but there was this one nagging little piece of the puzzle that I couldn’t quite find.

After chatting to my hubby, we quickly realised that while we loved every aspect of the family and life we were building we felt incomplete- something or rather ‘someone’ was missing and not too long after I launched my business, without even realising it, that little someone manifested!

We were thrilled to be expecting our second bubby but I knew what that meant for me.

Having been through a rough time the first time round , I was gearing myself up for another bumpy ride and bumpy it was! A whole season of bumpy and then some. Something had to give for little bit and sadly,but not regretfully, that was my business. That in a nutshell, is the reason for my disappearing act!

Now that we’re on the other end of said season and our little family is complete and thriving, I’m happy and ready to get back to other part of me and my new era! An era of expanse and growth,of creation and learning and all to better serve you!

I’m so ready to get back to this part of my life and I’m thrilled to say officially… I’m back and now taking bookings into 2025 and beyond!
