So excited to see this event as part of the Wynnum Fringe calendar this year. An exciting part of our community’s story and the stories such an event represents. Love is Love 🌈 ❤️

Wynnum Fringe is proud to present The inaugural Bay Pride. An inclusive day within our program which celebrates our diverse suburban community! For 4 years now, Wynnum Fringe has championed LGBTQIA+ performers, crew, shows and patrons. This year, each week of the Festival presents a different theme: Week 1 - PLACE (our connection to country), Week 2 - PRIDE (our diverse community) & Week 3 - POWER (the creative energy within all).

A big feature of week 2 is our family friendly pride march which involves a peaceful walk from the Wynnum Jetty to George Clayton Park at midday on Sunday November 26. This is an opportunity for people of all ages to celebrate love, kindness and equality. It's a chance to look to the future while honouring the past. When you reach the garden you will be met with LGBTQIA+ small business owners at market stalls, free outdoor performances, our First Nations Zone, outdoor bars, food vendors, rides and have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the smorgasbord of q***r shows on the program.

We strongly encourage all members of the community to come down, dress colourful and show their pride for all colours of the rainbow! ❤️ 🌈
