Hokafonu Sisters Catering We are 2 sister's that traveled from a little island in Houma, Tonga. We started this business to s The name Hokafonu originated from the King himself.

King Taufa 'Ahau the second. Our Great Great Grandmother was pregnant at the time and was craving (Fonu) a Turtle. Our Great Great Grandfather crossed next-door to the Palace and asked the King for a turtle for his wife to eat because she was craving this. The King said to our Great Great Grandfather, "When you have your baby you will name him Hokafonu". Hoka (Spear) and Fonu (Turtle).A spear thro

ugh the turtle. Hokafonu first started with our Great Grandfather. Now has become a surname well known in our little Country of Tonga. We named our Catering "Hokafonu Sisters Catering" after loosing our Father on the 19th of June 2020. We know both our Parents would be proud of us. We will carry our hearts on our sleeves every time we cook and remember every day why we are doing this. We work and hold the memories, the love and the precious moments we had with our now Angels. Their legacy will live on through our work, through our kids and our generation to come, not forgetting that our Business is in honor of them both.

I’m so sorry for very lady message after our event!! It was Mother’s Day than events and sickness but thank you so much for the plates of food!! They were 💯 AMAZING!!! our family were raving about how good they were!
