Reflecting back on our recent event, whilst the show was still quite a success we need to acknowledge that it did not meet our expectations and more importantly, we believe it didn’t meet yours. We underperformed in areas, which regrettably impacted the experience for our team and our audiences.
Most of the difficulties stemmed from issues with our collaborative event partner at the time. There was a lack of genuine promotional effort from their end, leaving us to carry much of the load in creating awareness, logistics and driving engagement.
Different business practices were also a recurring issue, further straining the collaboration, adding unnecessary pressure and essentially negatively impacting those who attended and those behind the scenes.
We felt pressured to push forward, even as we faced mounting negativity from the community. This situation was not what we envisioned, nor does it reflect the standards we hold ourselves to.
While we won’t delve into further specifics out of respect for all involved, we want to clarify that we mean no harm to any other brands. However, we feel it is important that we publicly share that we will no longer collaborate with Envy Events moving forward.
This decision reflects our commitment to ensuring future events align with our values, vision, and the quality our community deserves. We are committed to transparency, careful curation of shows, and collaborations to ensure our future endeavours not only meet but exceed expectations.
Moving forward, we will prioritise partnerships and practices that reflect our core values and the trust the community has in us.
We have taken the lessons from this experience to heart and we have doubled down on delivering unforgettable moments that truly represent Entropy.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited to take on a year filled with new collaborations, community-based events, and opportunities to give back. From hosting set competitions (👀) to organising genuine humble events, our goal is to create experiences that truly put on for the community.
Our next events will reflect our dedication to fostering a stronger, more connected community while delivering the high-qual events you expect from Entropy.
