Oh heeey! I'm Taylor, the gal behind Hazel Field Films and resident hype-squad for weddings.

I've been flirting with film for a long time now but the spark that really started it all was falling deeply in love with making travel films!

Thomas (my lovely fiance) and I, went trekking in the Himalayas, we busted out our cameras and I became obsessed. Capturing how it felt to be there, the sounds, the details, the sweeping landscapes.

It's still one of my favourite things to capture at weddings, and one of the reasons I specialise in destinations and elopements. Whether its the sound of waves crashing, the details on the leaves, or the drone through the mountains, all of these things bring you back to that place.

I've always loved weddings. I was the girl watching Say Yes to the Dress on daytime TV whenever I took a school sickie 😂 They're always beautiful - from the small details you put your heart into, to the conversations that we capture, from the big cheer as you say "I Do", to the soft moment together after you walk back down the aisle.

Don’t get me wrong - it’s not an easy job, but it’s worth it!

I get to capture an incredible milestone in people’s lives. I explore beautiful places, and meet cool people! The best bit? I get to witness love every day, whether it’s when I first meet my couples, on the big day itself, or while editing a film. Happy tears have been shed in that editing cave of mine!

Here's some facts you may not know about me;

- I am a big travel fan. I've been to 14 countries with 4 more on the near horizon 🎉! My favourite destinations so far are Scotland, Austria, and New Zealand.

- I have a pomeranian called Lulu and she is my heart and soul.

- I was a radio DJ and a Disney Princess impersonator. I will gladly riff-off tunes with any kids at your wedding. Can you guess which princess I was? 👑

- Nothing inspires me quite like a nature documentary. I'll never forget getting Blue Planet on VHS as a kid.

- The number 1 item on my bucket-list is to hike the Tour Du Mont Blanc. I'd also LOVE to stay in a glass igloo in Norway one day! What's on your bucket-list? I'd love to know!

"I hope our daughters don't do as they're told. As long as they're safe, I hope our daughters are bold."

Amanda wanted to capture her sweet twin girls each year as they grow, and change, and become who they are destined to be.

This heirloom family film is so that these little girls know just how much their mum loved them at every stage of their life. That she supported them, and wanted to empower them to be bold, curious, and importantly to always use their voice.

On Dilara and Kristian's first date, Dilara asked "if you were going to get married, where would you get married?"

Kristian's answer?... "I would take all of my closest family and friends somewhere tropical, away from Melbourne.. maybe North Queensland?"

Who would've guessed that 5 years later they would be in the absolutely stunning Port Douglas, having the destination wedding of their dreams! 🌿

From the very first conversation I had with these two wonderful souls, they told me that capturing the place as well as the people, was super special for them. The crashing waves over the rocks, the leaves in the forest, the feeling of the sand beneath your feet.. not to mention how absolutely incredible Port Douglas looks from above!!

Dilara and Kristian, it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of your special day. Thank you for having me 💖

Hamilton Island, Fireworks, Romance, OH MY!!

From travelling and luxury holidays to camping with no showers, to being stuck in Covid and lockdown showing them that they could do absolutely nothing together and still have fun, Tamyka and Luke are a beautiful match.

It was such a pleasure and a privilege to be a part of your incredible day lovers, I hope you treasure your film forever 💖
