Blackwood D&D Winterfest Join us to celebrate all things Dungeons and Dragons, at a weekend of dice rolling and role playing

Blackwood D&D Winterfest is an annual two-day Dungeons & Dragons game event in Bridgetown, Western Australia. This year it will be held on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th of July 2022. Held over a weekend, Winterfest is an opportunity for players and dungeon masters to get together and play the world's premiere fantasy role-playing game. Beginners are encouraged to join veteran adventurers in pittin

g their wits and skills to delve dungeons, fight fearsome monsters and secure the treasure. Winterfest is a great opportunity for new players to try out roleplaying games for the first time in a safe, inclusive environment - and to meet people who share the same interests. Experienced players can experience new DMs and playstyles, and adventure with unfamiliar companions. Each day has morning and afternoon play sessions, with one-day or weekend tickets available."

As part of our wrap up for this years event we kindly ask players and DM's alike to fill out a survey that we have sent to your email address. This will aid us in making improvements to the 2026 event and also provide us with demographic information to assist with applying for grants.

Thanks to those that have already filled out surveys! We look at every score and comment to see what we did well and where we can improve!

Just like that its done! Our Winter Kobolds have packed away the last of the Showgrounds and we have buried ourselves in our dens for some rest. Now we poke our heads out and tentatively measure the success of the 2025 event!

Words cannot express the gratitude we have to all of the Winterfest Family!

Thanks to our amazing volunteers and volunteer DM's, who put in their valuable time and effort to bring us all amazing game sessions. Without you Winterfest would not take place!

Thanks to vendors Beyond - Games and Hobby, Sphinx Stationery, Candlelight leather, Direfox Dice, Orbies Dice lab, Ash the Dragonsmith and Every Trick Books for coming to the event and donating amazing prizes for the door raffles.

With our long rest underway we can finally overcome the levels of exhaustion and prepare ourselves for the challenges ahead. Next is to cement our plants to widen the positive influence of TTRPG's in the Warren Blackwood Region, so watch this space for more! Also keep an eye out for our Blackwood D&D Winterfest post event survey to provide feedback for 2025.

It would appear our sign at the showgrounds gate went missing last night. If anyone happened to see it or picked it up can you please return it for our not for profit event this weekend! No questions asked!
