Our Story

“The Field of Dreams Cafe” was opened by Rowena Abbey, Mayor of Yass Valley Council, Visionary for Regional Development 9th February 2019. Established 1986, officially opened by The Hon Nick Greiner, Former Premier of NSW, 1st November 1992 , extensive 5 acre garden, home to world famous Glass Artist Peter Crisp, Horticulturist Sandy Crisp, Gift Gallery Helen Crisp and DESIGNESQ Pty Ltd. Peter Crisp’s glass studio of slumped kiln fired glass supplying shops and bespoke customers around the world, regular concerts, weddings, exhibitions, guest artists in residence, homeware gifts, horse drawn carriages & museum.

Our Gin Bar opened in June 2019 featuring Gins from around the world, regular Spirits and Regional Wines. “The Confessional Bar and Restaurant” for fine dining is soon to open.

NSW Governor Her Excellency Dame Prof Marie Bashir AC, Launched the “Aaron McMillan Grove for Medical Research” by planting a tree at “The Crisp Galleries” on the 29th October 2005.
