Most mornings are looking like this at the moment so frost protection is a must. My greenhouse has no insulation or lining but I’m still able to start & grow frost tender plants with these few tips. The most important one? Make sure watering is done early so there is no moisture on the leaves when the temperature drops. 🥶

I hope everyone stayed safe during last night’s wild weather - these little violas weren’t fazed at all. Not quite big enough for Bloom Pots yet, but they are definitely proving to be very hardy!!!!

Oh what a difference a day can make! My little flower farm has been devastated by the influx of beetles which seem to be everywhere around the area at the moment. I hope your garden is faring better than mine! Unfortunately there will be no flowers available for the rest of the week. I’m hoping the beetles move on before my next crop of flowers open in a few days…
