Borden Pavilion is the Great Southern’s premier regional function venue, ideal for meetings, conferences, workshops, concerts and exhibitions.

Centrally located in the Gnowangerup Shire, Borden Pavilion is 120 kilometres north of Albany.

On Tuesday we had the pleasure of welcoming Aliwah Bardinar (Look Out, Rosella) in to the Borden Pavilion.

What an amazing performance this is! We witnessed our beautiful native species come to life with colourful costume, vibrant music and contagious energy.

This performance brought liveliness to a beautiful story and we are so glad we got to share it with 6 amazing Great Southern Schools.

Thank you to the schools that came across to Borden and joining in on the fun. We hope that all your little ones came running home, moving and grooving and excited to share what they had witnessed.

Thank you Australia Post and the Shire of Gnowangerup for making this show accessible and achievable in our small town.

Seeing the Pavilion full of people moving, laughing and catching up over a slice of pizza & bubbles afterwards is exactly what we love to see.

A huge thank you to both Sally House and Michelle Richardson. Sally delivered us a fun & challenging that had everyone feeling the burn. Michelle ensured we had an amazing selection of pizzas and bubbles & beer for everyone!

One attendee summed up the afternoon perfectly! Thanks you to everyone who came along and made the afternoon such a success. We can’t wait to do it all again! 🥂💛

August at the Borden Pavilion!

Another month has rolled around, and while everyone’s keeping an eye on the forecast and hoping for some much-needed rain, we’ve got plenty happening at the Pavilion this August.

Tickets can be purchased for the Ongerup Winter Sports Windup and a little reminder that Aliwah Bardinar! (Look out Rosella) is an event for Great Southern Schools and Children. If you would like your kids involved, be sure to email the Pavilion.

Whether you’re joining us for a class, attending an event, or simply stopping by to catch up with friends, we’d love to see you around the Pavilion this month.

💃 Move, groove and have fun at the Borden Pavilion! 🪩

We’re excited to welcome Dancing for Life to Borden, a fun, inclusive movement and dance session for children of all ages and abilities.

Led by Meagan, an Occupational Therapist, these sessions encourage confidence, creativity, self-expression and connection through music and movement. Best of all, no dance experience is needed, just come along and have fun!

We’d love to see some new faces giving it a go! 💛🎶🕺

🦜🎭 The countdown is on!

In just a few weeks, the Borden Pavilion will come alive with Aliwah Bardinar! (Look Out, Rosella), an unforgettable performance from Breaksea that celebrates Noongar storytelling through music, movement and imagination.

Bursting with colourful characters, captivating puppetry, lively songs and plenty of laughter, this magical production invites children to discover the story of how the Bardinar (Western Rosella) came to wear its beautiful colours.

Ramping up the Pilates in Borden this August! 🤸🏽‍♀️

Join us at the Pavilion for Pilates, Prosecco & Pizza. (Peronis & Non-Alco also available)

Tickets are available now and be quick, limited spots available. The afternoon will include a 60 min Pilates class hosted by the fabulous .pilates as well as bubbles or beer and pizza to finish.

Borden’s Biggest Morning Tea 2026☕️

Thank you to everyone that came down with a plate to share and brought some raffle tickets. As well as those that purchased a raffle ticket online.

With everyone’s generosity we were able to raise $1150 towards those impacted by cancer, such an amazing result from everyone’s contribution 💙

Congratulations again to our lucky meat tray winners, we trust your bellies have been full!
