Recently I had the honour of officiating at Memorial Services for two amazing women: 97 year old Elaine whose service was held at Lewers Café Emu Plains and 60 year old Donna who, as part of the service, was honoured with a Corrective Services Tribute at the Nepean Rowers Club. It is always such a privilege to support families in their grief as they pay tribute to their loved ones in a way that is best for them.

They say don’t work with kids and animals, but I disagree! Liam and Kirra’s wedding was simply amazing, kids and animals included. Their marriage was held on the family’s property at Duckmaloi near Oberon on Monday May 4th. The day was cold and a little damp, but the scenery and setting made up for the inclement weather. Lots of love in the fresh air! Wishing this beautiful couple a lifetime of love and happiness.

I just love baby Namings and yesterday was no exception when the Kelly Family gathered with friends to celebrate Grace’s Name Day/First Birthday at Ropes Crossing. Grace Kelly … such a beautiful name!
With 8 Godparents and the support of family and friends this little girl (with flaming red hair) has been truly blessed.
Wishing Grace a lifetime of love and happiness in a peaceful world. Thank you for inviting me to share this day with you…it was such a pleasure.

Although the weather was a little inclement to start with, it was still a very joyful occasion for Roseabella and Maverick’s Name Day.
The ceremony was held at the Weir on the banks of the Nepean River. Parents, Grandparents and Godparents lit candles symbolising their love and commitment to these beautiful children. Wishing Isabella and Maverick blessings for life.

Ten years ago I officiated at a Name Day for Chase and more recently a wedding for his Uncle and Auntie. Chase is almost as tall as I am now, ready for high school and has grown into a lovely young man.
Now it’s his sister Lylah’s turn to be officially named. Congratulations to this cheeky little cherub on her Name Day which was held on Australia Day at South Penrith.
It was so lovely to be invited back to celebrate another happy occasion with this family.

Although the wind almost blew us away it was such a beautiful wedding for Arly and John in the formal garden at Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens.
Congratulations and best wishes to this delightful couple and thank you for the privilege of declaring you husband and wife.

My heart goes out to the owners and the amazing staff at Loxley on Bellbird
Hill after the devasting fire which destroyed the premises last night.
Thinking also of the couples whose weddings are booked to take place, and
those couples who have already been married there. Such sad news.

It was an instant attraction when Kylie and Red first met some years ago and they shared a beautiful love story to bring them to this day.
The bride arrived by horse and buggy to Hawkesbury Function Centre at Londonderry for their wedding on 14th August 2025. The light rain didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits as the couple shared vows and exchanged rings.
I was delighted to share this beautiful day with this happy couple who were so easy to work with.
Wishing them lots of love and a wonderful future together as husband and wife.

Family and friends gathered within the beautiful surrounds of the Epping Club to support Kirsty and Enricco as they exchanged vows and rings in July. The rings were duly presented by the ‘mini security guards’ to ensure their safe arrival. It was so lovely to catch up with this family once again for another happy occasion. Wishing this gorgeous couple all the very best for their future happiness together.

What a great celebration it was for Phoebe’s Name Day and 1st Birthday on Saturday 17th May at Cranebrook. About 100 guests attended to wish her well on the most beautiful autumn day. Such a wonderful bunch of people and lots of fun and games were enjoyed. I was delighted to attend and I wish Phoebe and her very proud parents life’s choicest blessings.
