Tonight, yet again, I’ve been reminded of the incredibly important job I’ve been blessed with. Carrying people from one life phase to the next. These thresholds are nothing to be taken for granted, to celebrate them in any form is what it means to be human.
I’ll never stop appreciating the enormity of these moments, and how my words can carry so much meaning.
Tonight, I’m sad to learn that Debbie lost her Roger in October this year. I remember their ceremony so clearly 3 years ago. They wanted a simple, legals only affair at one of their favourite places in the world… just the two of them… but I came across a reading that I felt epitomised them to a tee and chose to include it in their ceremony as a surprise. And my goodness the happy tears because of this said it all!
To learn that when Roger passed away a few weeks ago, this poem was read out at his funeral not only breaks my heart into a million little pieces but somehow makes it swell if that’s possible and makes sense?
It’s not the first time sadly I’ve learned of one half of my couple’s going well before their time. But to hear that I’ve been able to create a wedding day for them that was the highlight of their lives together will never be something I’ll take for granted 💕

Why hello wedding season 22/23!
Can’t wait to kick things off next weekend 👏🏻
I’ve been quiet on here, but it’s been all systems go in the background these last few months!
I’ve loved meeting with all my late 2022 couples over winter to plan their most special of special days. Every couple, every wedding and every ceremony is so different and I can’t wait to see what this new season will bring!
I’ve also been lucky enough to catch up with other wedding industry folk, I upskilled at an incredible writing workshop with and , and let my head down at the mid year bash. It’s been a blast 💥

Kath & Jim threw one hell of a party at their home to celebrate love, friendship, family, food … and fashionnnn (can we talk about The Dress 🥹) and I was just happy to be taken along on the ride!

Umm.. sorry but how can this be a year ago today? I can remember everything so clearly! The frantic check of the rain radar after an especially wet afternoon, the assurance from the incredible team at that everything would be fine weather wise, the ultra laid back pre ceremony vibes from Mitch and the sneaky post arrival/pre entrance drinks from Lauren , and then the non-stop giggly excited chatter from them both all ceremony 😂 it was so, so fun! And I feel like it was just yesterday .. but it’s now their anniversary AND the best is yet to come 👶🏻

💖 5 years 💖
It’s my celebrant birthdayyyy! 💃🏻
5 years since I was appointed, I can’t believe it! It’s been a wild ride, I tell ya! Way wilder than it should’ve been. 😜 🦠 😭
But I still pinch myself on the regular that THIS is my job 😱
Nothing lights me up more than getting to know my couples and portray them & their love in all its wonderful, sparkly radiance on their wedding day 🥰
In recent times I’ve noticed a huge uptick in the amount of enquiries and bookings I am getting from couples either referred to me by couples I’ve married, guests at a wedding I’ve officiated or from other wedding suppliers. I truly am so grateful. Thank you for all your support 🥰
If you’re looking for a celebrant for your most special of special days, I’m currently taking bookings at this stage from January to July 2023. But with limited dates remaining be sure to reach out soon!
