Some love stories take years to unfold… and some begin with a run from Brighton to Glenelg, coffee, brunch and a very cute four-legged wingman named Yogi. 🐾

When Catherine and Lewis met in June 2024, Lewis was smitten pretty much immediately. And whilst Catherine may have taken a little longer to admit it, all it took was a dropped jar of pickles, a few tears and Lewis showing exactly the kind, patient man he is for her to realise it was love ❤️

Fast forward to a trip to Japan, a somewhat questionable walk up a mountain, a bamboo forest and possibly one of our favourite proposal lines ever, which lead us to celebrating their beautiful day at The Manor filled with the people they love most.

Mr & Mrs Debenedictis (yes, I even pronounced the name correctly!) thank you for choosing us, we wish you all the love in the world. 🥂

Some couples just get you from the moment you meet them, and Jess and Luke were absolutely that couple for us.

They chose to marry on their 12-year anniversary, which is even sweeter when you know their story goes all the way back to Year 9. They have grown up together, weathered one of life’s hardest challenges together, and have become the formidable couple they are today.

Their wedding day fell on a typical winter's day with the threat of rain, so the decision was made to hold the ceremony indoors (seriously, Longview has the best indoor ceremony space in the whole of Adelaide). And here's the thing, the room was filled with so much warmth from the people in it that it didn't matter what was happening outside.

Some couples you meet, marry and remember fondly, and then there are the ones you simply adore.

Jess and Luke, you are genuinely two of the most delightful humans we’ve had the pleasure of marrying, and you've stolen a little piece of our hearts too ❤️

We first met Mel while officiating a wedding in 2021, and she told us there and then that when it was her turn, she would choose us!

The only thing left to do was to find a fiance! No pressure, Mel.

Fast forward to a glorious winter’s day in the Bugle Ranges, and there we were, at Mum’s beautiful property, finally getting to do exactly that.

With just their closest family and friends, the horses casually keeping an eye on proceedings, and the sun absolutely showing off for August, it was the most perfect intimate celebration.

Their wedding wasn't just about Mel and Blake, it was about the gorgeous little family they have been creating. First came Maverick, their beloved fur baby and original child, then their beautiful Penelope, who is quite simply the light of their lives.

And now, with one more little love on the way, this family story is getting even better.

Mel and Blake, we wish you all the beautiful things! 🤍

Kaylah and Thomas were married at The Manor, and with a May wedding, they decided not to leave anything to chance when it came to the Mother Nature and weather!

Instead, they committed to the indoor ceremony space, and what a perfect decision it was.

The space was stunning, cozy, warm and filled with all the romance you could wish for on an autumn wedding day. And really, when your ceremony space looks that beautiful, who needs to worry about what’s happening outside? 🤍

When couples book our Celebrant + MC Package, they know their ceremony and reception are in safe hands from the beginning of the ceremony through to the end of formalities ❤️

Sherica and Toby did exactly that on a picture-perfect autumn day at the glorious Golding W**es.

Their ceremony was a beautiful blend of love, family and tradition. While Sherica now proudly calls Australia home, her heart remains deeply connected to the Philippines, so it was important that their ceremony honoured her heritage. Together, they included several beautiful Filipino wedding customs, creating a ceremony that felt deeply personal and reflected both of their lives.

It was such a privilege to guide them through this special day before Richard took the mic again to keep the celebrations flowing into the evening.

The ever-so-lovely Lottie & Rhys were married on a perfect autumn day at Aldinga Secret Garden 🤍🍂

Their ceremony will always be one of our favourites because it was so full of all the emotions, with Lottie laughing, crying, and quite often managing to do both at once! And as for Rhys? Well, he simply couldn't take his eyes off his beautiful girl.

It was the most heartfelt ceremony, made even more special by readings from their parents, and family travelling all the way from England, including Lottie's Grandad and Aunty, to celebrate with them.

One of our favourite parts of their story was the proposal, where Lottie had just one request of Rhys – she wanted to be engaged while she was still 21, the same age her Grandad was when he married her grandmother - such a beautiful tribute to their love story that clearly inspired her own.

Congratulations, Lottie & Rhys. Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a love-filled day. We adore you both! ❤️

Kate and Dustin really are two of the loveliest people we've ever met and just like us, they work together! Although it's a somewhat different role, as paramedics, the same saying applies, "the couple that works together, stays together"

Their ceremony was everything and more, and they celebrated afterwards at The National W**e Centre with a joy filled celebration with all the people that matter most!

Some love stories begin with a chance meeting, but Micaela & Jarrad's began while they were both preparing to work as tour guides in the Greek Islands. After being added to a group chat with their fellow guides, Jarrad did what any single man would do - he shamelessly scrolled through everyone's profile picture until Micaela's stopped him in his tracks.

From buying a car in Africa without knowing how to drive a manual, to accidentally purchasing a house they'd never seen, these two have built a relationship that's equal parts adventure and unwavering trust, and we absolutely adore them!

Teila and Mason trusted us with the full package of Celebrant, DJ and MC which meant we had the absolute pleasure of helping shape every part of their day, from the ceremony right through to the final song.

Their wedding was never just about saying “I do”, it was about celebrating their beautiful little family, and when Harrison entered with his cheeky and lovable nature, he absolutely stole the show!

We also want to acknowledge Mason’s brother and sister-in-law, Riley and Sophie from .your.scene who absolutely nailed the assignment and brought Teila and Mason’s vision to life.

One of our favourite parts of the "Sam and Jack love story" was the trip to Italy they’d dreamed of taking together since the early days of their relationship, with a plan to rent a Fiat, drive through the countryside, and eat as much pasta as humanly possible. 

Which is exactly what they did! And it was while driving through Tuscany that Jack asked Sam to spend the rest of her life with him!

We adored their ceremony, because it was full of meaningful moments, including honouring their parents, who share over 66 years of marriage, by inviting them to take part in a ring warming tradition, blessing them with love, wisdom, and decades of marriage experience.

It was a beautiful reminder that the best marriages are built not just on love, but on the people and stories that shape them.

Sam and Jack, you two are an absolute delight and we loved getting to know you. Sharing in your beautiful day was such an honour, and we wish you a lifetime of love, family and more trips overseas! 🧡
