And just like that… Flourish Experiences Gold Coast is officially underway. 💛

On Saturday morning a wonderful group of women joined Ali for our very first Walk & Talk at the Gold Coast Regional Botanical Gardens.

Some arrived knowing people.

Some arrived completely on their own.

By the end of the morning there was plenty of chatting, lots of laughter and a few new friendships beginning.

And that’s exactly what Flourish is all about.

Not because women don’t have people in their lives.

But because sometimes it’s nice to meet new people, try new things and say yes to experiences you might not otherwise do on your own.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our very first Gold Coast event. What a fantastic way to start.

Researchers have spent decades studying happiness.

The answer isn’t more stuff.

It isn’t a bigger house.

It isn’t a better job.

Again and again, they come back to the same thing:

Relationships.

Connection.

Belonging.

One of the things I’ve noticed through Flourish is that women don’t struggle to find things to do.

They struggle to find people to do them with.

Not because they don’t have people in their lives.

Often it’s just busy schedules, different priorities, family commitments, distance, or friends/partners who simply enjoy different things.

Someone to travel with.

Someone to have lunch with.

Someone to join them at the theatre.

Someone who says “yes” when they suggest trying something new.

Maybe that’s why connection matters so much.

Because life’s experiences are always better when they’re shared.

Hi, it’s Jacqui here – founder of Flourish Experiences.

Two and a half years ago, I had no idea just how many women were looking for new things to do and new people to do them with. What started as a small idea has grown into an incredible community of women embracing friendship, adventure and connection.

A huge thank you to the Gold Coast Bulletin for sharing our story in yesterday’s paper. It’s exciting to see Flourish’s next chapter unfolding on the Gold Coast! I’m so excited to meet you all!

We have our official Gold Coast launch coming up at the beautiful .4215 on 11 July 2026 - tickets are selling fast and I can’t wait for you all to meet eachother and (for those who haven’t already met her).

You honestly couldn’t be in better hands. Ali is kind, smart, welcoming and absolutely hilarious. She has a genuine gift for bringing people together, and I know she’s going to create something really special for women on the Gold Coast.

Please meet Sammie, owner of Coffee At The Gardens 😊
I met Sammie last year when I popped in for a coffee after having a walk through the gardens. Immediately I knew I was with a kind soul. She gives so much warmth…..within 10 mins we were in her kitchen sorting her cutlery drawers while chatting and of course solving all the world’s problems 🙌 🤣 Sammie, you are the epitome of what Flourish is all about. Connection and a lovely time 🫶

I honestly can’t think of a better place or person to enjoy a coffee with when we finish up our Walk and Talk through the tomorrow.

While many people first discover us through our local events and experiences, Flourish also organises curated women’s getaways around Australia.

Join us for our first Walk & Talk! Saturday 30th May 💛

7:30am. Meet us near the children’s playground at the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens, at Benowa. We’ll walk together, then head to the beautiful Gardens Cafe for coffee and a chat afterwards.
