At what point does a chair stop being a chair? 🪑
You know the one.
The chair in your bedroom that everyone has, but nobody talks about.
A jumper here. A jacket there. A few other bits and pieces. None of them seem like a problem on their own until one day the chair has quietly become something else entirely.
It got me thinking about business.
How often do we do exactly the same thing? A task gets added here, a project there, a follow up you've been meaning to send or an idea you've been wanting to explore. Before long, you're carrying around far more than you intended to.
A conversation I had recently about business support reminded me of one of the biggest misconceptions about what I do. People often think they're just engaging a Virtual Assistant to help with admin.
While that's certainly part of it, what my clients often value most is having a trusted partner. Someone who understands what they're trying to achieve, helps keep things moving and genuinely wants to see them succeed.
Because that's really what I do!
I help take a few things off the chair. One task, one project, one responsibility at a time. And before long, you can see the chair again.
That type of support, the kind that helps you grow, isn't something you wait until you're ready for. It's the thing that helps you get where you want to go 🫶🏻
If this resonated with you and you'd like to chat about taking a few things off your chair, I'd love to hear from you.
