Lovebirds, I’m back!
Well… my suitcase made it home, but I’m not entirely convinced my brain did!
Feeling VERY jet-lagged still today, but fingers crossed I’m back to my normal bubbly self tomorrow!
So happy to be home and ready to get back to all things weddings, lovebirds and confetti! Bring it baby

Confession: I can’t go on holiday without accidentally stalking a wedding. This gorgeous pair were the highlight of a trip a few years ago, and Perast, Montenegro is on the cards again in a few weeks so odds are decent I’ll spot another one to admire from a very respectful distance.
Bride-spotting on holidays is a genuine hobby of mine at this point. Holiday officially kicks off in Singapore tomorrow though, so first things first

Legals only or a secret elopement, a DIY grazing box in my eyes is an absolute winner
You don’t need a huge reception to make it feel special. Sometimes it’s just you, your favourite person, two witnesses, and a box like this full of smoked cheddar, brie, blackberries and raspberries everywhere, cashews, olives, a passionfruit cut in half because it looks too good not to, crackers stacked and ready, and a jar of something delicious tucked in the middle.
Hot tip: Kmart and I’m sure other places sell these boxes empty, you just fill them with all your favourite yummy things. Throw in a blanket and you’ve basically got a picnic date built into your wedding day.
It’s the kind of detail that makes a five-minute legal ceremony feel like an occasion.
Pop the bubbles, pull the box apart together, and suddenly it’s a celebration smaller, quieter, completely yours.
A smaller style wedding doesn’t mean no fuss. It just means less fuss, more of what actually matters.

Have I told you lately I love being a celebrant?
