Melanie and James got married last Saturday at Mel’s Nanna’s place in Eppalock, with the gorgeous gum trees and dam making the perfect country backdrop.
It was a small legals only ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest, with their three children right there beside them and even two little ponies watching on from nearby.
It was simple, emotional and full of love, exactly the way Mel and James wanted it.
And can we talk about a mid morning wedding? I am absolutely here for it. Such a vibe.

Lovebirds can we take a moment for the river in the background and those gorgeous faux flowers? What a spot for a wedding signing table!
And sitting on the barrel is a lucky horseshoe, ready for the bride to wear on her wrist after the ceremony. Somewhere in my house I still have the lucky charms that were put on my wrist on my wedding day. Which box they’re in, or even where that box is, I have absolutely no idea!

A little flashback to March and that “we just got married” feeling.

Lovebirds let’s talk about signing tables.
Do you need one on your wedding day? Absolutely not. But the right signing table can be such a beautiful element of your ceremony and look gorgeous in your photos.
It doesn’t need to be anything fancy either. Even a plain table can look really special with a beautiful tablecloth, a gorgeous bunch of flowers or a few decorations that match the style of your day.
And while we’re talking about signing tables, let’s talk signing songs. I always suggest choosing two songs that are special to you. This gives us plenty of time to complete all the signing without anyone feeling rushed, while your photographer captures some beautiful photos.
This gorgeous signing table was from Rachael and William’s beautiful country wedding, which was one year ago yesterday. How quickly does time fly?

Selfie with you at your wedding? Oh yes, I’m guilty.
If it’s not for one of my signature glow ups with my couples that I sometimes do, it’s often because I don’t have someone following me around taking photos… so a celebrant selfie it is.
