A little Frozen birthday magic at Bear and Cub Play Centre Bendigo today! ❄️🩵💜❄️🩵💜

Bear & Cub is quickly becoming one of the most popular venues we deliver to, and it’s easy to see why! With so much already there to enjoy, a simple backdrop, themed tablecloths and colour-coordinated reusable dinnerware can be all you need from us to bring your party theme together. 🥳

We absolutely love this family’s tradition of making all their kids’ birthday cakes — how gorgeous is this Elsa cake! Such a special personal touch. 🎂

The setup was topped off with a reused balloon garland that was already at the venue. We love seeing party décor enjoyed again! ♻️

With today’s beautiful weather, we imagine the new outdoor area got plenty of love too. ☀️

Planning your own Bear & Cub celebration? Send us a message and we can help bring your theme to life!

🎈 SUNDAY SMALL BIZ SHOUTOUT 🎈

This week we’re giving a little love to blushballoonery! 💕

We try our best to steer away from single-use items wherever we can, but we also know that sometimes balloons are that little something extra that can really lift a setup and bring the whole look together. ✨

So when our clients are wanting that extra pop, we always recommend the lovely Gemma from Blush Balloonery. 🎈

Beautiful balloons, gorgeous colours and the perfect finishing touch to a special celebration. 💗

We love being able to support and recommend other amazing local small businesses! 🫶

💜💚🩷 KAIA’S 13TH GLOW PARTY! 🩷💚💜

Well… the weather certainly decided to test us for this one! 😂 Wind and rain ALL night 🌧️💨 did not make for ideal styling conditions. Thankfully, the weather didn’t stop these girls from making the absolute most of the night!

The glow party was in full swing with UV lights, neon everywhere, glow goodies, our low picnic setup, light-up 13, DIY Photo Booth and plenty of laughs. 🌈✨

I need to give a little apology to all my fabulous party vendors who I normally love bringing into our celebrations! 😂 I was under strict instructions from Kaia NOT to go overboard. Apparently Mum’s version of “simple” and Kaia’s version may be slightly different. 🤣 So I behaved… well, as much as I could!

Even the cake was kept simple — a Freddo Frog ice cream cake and cupcakes from Woolies 🎂🧁 — and honestly, she was completely happy with it.

Sometimes when you work in the party industry, it’s very easy to keep adding just one more thing… and then another… and another. 😂 But this one was a good reminder that the kids don’t need every little extra to have an amazing party.

Despite the wind, despite the rain, and despite Mum being told to rein it in, Kaia and her gorgeous friends had such a fun night. 💕✨

Happy 13th Birthday, Kaia! 🥳
Officially a teenager! 💗

What’s your party palette? 🤍🌿🌸🩵🌼

We’ve been busy behind the scenes working on a new range of reusable fabric styling pieces for Parties 2 Bragg About — designed to mix, match and work across so many different party themes.

🌿 Sage — soft, natural & versatile
🤍 Neutral — warm, timeless & understated
🌸 Blush — sweet, soft & romantic
🩵 Blue — classic, calm & easy to style
🌼 Butter — warm, cheerful & full of charm

The idea is to create coordinating pieces like fabric bunting, first birthday details, party hats and other little touches that can be hired again and again — simply styled differently for each celebration.

Now we want to know… which palette would you choose? 👇

🌿 Sage
🤍 Neutral
🌸 Blush
🩵 Blue
🌼 Butter

A little note about the image: This image has been AI generated to help us visualise the different colour palettes. The Sage palette is based on the real fabrics we’ve already purchased and have started creating with, while the other colourways are concepts we’re exploring. 🤍

We can’t wait to show you the real pieces as they start coming together!

🍪 SUNDAY SMALL BIZ SPOTLIGHT… on a Monday! 🤎

We’re a day late with this week’s spotlight! We were away for our first weekend away with Bodhi, celebrating my nephew’s wedding, so Sunday’s post had to wait. 💕

This week we’re sharing one of our absolute favourite local cookie makers — Crumb & Dough 🍪

We’ve personally used Crumb & Dough for many of Kaia’s birthdays, as well as our baby shower, and the cookies are always such a beautiful addition to the celebration.

The gorgeous cookies pictured were made for our baby shower and matched the Australian native theme perfectly — right down to the koalas, gum leaves and stunning florals. 🌿🐨

One of the things we love about custom cookies is how easily they can tie a whole party theme together — and they double as a sweet little treat for guests to enjoy or take home.

🤎 Now it’s your turn!
Do you know a local cookie maker we should check out? Tag their business below — and if you’re a local cookie maker yourself, introduce your business in the comments!

We’d love these weekly spotlights to become a place where our community can discover more of the amazing small businesses helping make local celebrations special. 🫶

🌿 Something new is coming… meet SAGE! 🌿

We’ve been choosing fabrics, mixing colours and putting together something we think is going to be such a beautiful addition to our party hire range. 🤍

Our new Sage collection is in the works!

Think soft sage gingham, delicate florals, rich green and creamy neutrals — all designed to mix and match to create a setup that feels coordinated without being locked into one particular theme.

From woodland and farm to dinosaurs, safari, garden parties, first birthdays and more, Sage will be a versatile base that can be styled in so many different ways.

And because this is Parties 2 Bragg About, we’re making pieces that can be used again and again. 🌿

Coming to the Sage collection:
🤍 Fabric bunting
🌿 Matching ONE high-chair bunting
🎉 Fabric party hat
🌿 Sage backdrop
🤍 Reusable partyware & coordinating styling pieces

Same beautiful basics. Different stories.

We can’t wait to show you everything once it comes together!

Now we just need to get Nan on the sewing machine 👵🏻🪡

What theme would you pair with Sage? Tell us below 👇🌿

🌿 Sunday Small Biz Spotlight 🌿

We’re starting something new here at Parties 2 Bragg About — our Sunday Small Biz Spotlight! 🤍

There are so many wonderful small businesses that help bring celebrations together, from cake makers and balloons to personalised pieces, entertainment, party treats and everything in between.

Each Sunday, we’ll be shining a little light on a small business connected to the party world — starting with businesses we’ve personally used and loved.

And really… where better to start than CAKE! 🎂

This week we’re featuring eccakesandsweets, who created this gorgeous cake for our baby shower. It looked beautiful, fitted our theme perfectly and, most importantly, tasted amazing too!

But we also want these posts to become a place to discover more local small businesses.

🍰 So, cake makers — introduce yourselves in the comments!
If you make cakes, cupcakes or sweet treats, tag your business below.

And everyone else — tag your favourite local cake maker and show them some love! 💕

You might just help another family discover the perfect person for their next celebration.

Small businesses supporting small businesses.
Because beautiful parties take a whole little community. 🤍

Next Sunday, we’ll put another party-business category in the spotlight!

Looks like our new high chair has officially passed the Bodhi test! 🤍

Before she heads out to her very first party, we needed one very important quality-control check… and Bodhi was more than happy to help! 😂

From a well-loved second-hand find with plenty of TLC from my dad and sister, our high chair is finally finished and READY TO HIRE. ♻️✨

***strap will be replaced with a white one***

We absolutely love that instead of buying new, we’ve been able to give this beautiful little chair a whole new life — ready to be part of lots of first birthdays and special celebrations.

And judging by that smile, we think Bodhi approves! 🤍

Now available as part of our First Birthday Hire Range.

From old to party ready 🤍

Remember the wooden high chair we picked up a little while ago? Well… look at her now! 😍

We knew we wanted a beautiful wooden high chair for our First Birthday Hire range, but rather than buying something new, we found this one and decided to give her a second life.

And I can’t take the credit for the makeover 😂 Dad and my sister were the ones behind this little project. They both love a good “fix-me-up” job, so this was right up their alley!

A whole lot of sanding, a fresh coat of white paint and plenty of love later… she’s officially READY TO HIRE! 🎉

Perfect for first birthdays, cake smashes and those all-important birthday photos, and neutral enough to work in with almost any party theme.

And I think this little makeover sums up so much of what we’re trying to do with Parties 2 Bragg About — reuse what we can, choose pieces that can have a life beyond one celebration, and create beautiful parties without all the waste. ♻️🤍

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads — especially the ones who still believe the party only cost what we told them it did. 🤫😂

No need to check the receipts, fellas… just enjoy the party. 😂

And a very special Happy Father’s Day to our own Muscles — the man behind the scenes at Parties 2 Bragg About and the very loved dad to this beautiful bunch. 🥰

Thank you for supporting all the crazy ideas, helping bring them to life and pretending not to notice when the party collection grows… again. 😂

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandads and father figures doing an amazing job. We hope you get thoroughly spoilt today! 💜

Love,
Parties 2 Bragg About 🥳
