For this celebration at Starship Sydney, we brought colour and movement into the space with handcrafted hanging installations, creating a vibrant atmosphere that guests could experience from every angle.

The result? A space that felt transformed and an atmosphere guests couldn’t stop enjoying.

Honouring tradition through every detail. ❤️

For this Afghan Mehndi, we wanted the setting to feel as rich and warm as the celebration itself. Inspired by traditional Afghan aesthetics, we worked with deep burgundy tones, rich textiles, florals, ornate gold accents and cultural elements to create a space that felt deeply connected to its roots.

A design where heritage sets the mood, and every detail has a purpose.

Some celebrations don’t need a crowd to feel extraordinary.✨

For this outdoor wedding, the open garden and existing walkway gave us the opportunity to create a ceremony experience that unfolds naturally from the moment you enter.

We used the white doors to create a defined entrance, then drew the eye through the aisle with delicate floral details before bringing the focus towards the floral mandap at the end.

The soft white and blush florals were carried through the different elements to create continuity connecting the entrance, aisle and mandap without taking away from the openness of the outdoor setting.

Rather than filling the space with décor, the design was about creating a clear visual journey and allowing each element to have its place.

That’s how we approach wedding design at TM Events: understanding the space, considering the experience, and creating a design that feels like it belongs there. ✨

When luxury is in the details, every element has a role. ✨

For this luxury Afghan wedding, the goal was never simply to add beautiful décor. It was about creating an atmosphere that felt grand, elegant and worthy of the occasion.

From the statement floral arrangements to the feature dance floor, every element was considered as part of the overall setting balancing scale, colour and detail to create a space that felt cohesive rather than overwhelming.

The florals brought softness and sophistication, while the dance floor created a natural focal point for the celebration, bringing the design and energy of the evening together. ✨

For us, luxury event design is about more than individual décor pieces.

It’s about understanding the occasion, reading the space and knowing how every element should come together to create one complete experience.

When a restaurant already looks this good, the idea isn’t to cover it, it’s to work with it. ✨

For Al Nawab’s Sydney opening, the brief was to move beyond the usual opening day balloons and create something that could catch attention, bring colour to the street and invite people in.

So we followed the architecture.

The existing grid, ceiling lines and pendant lights became part of our design, with a bespoke overhead installation created specifically to sit within the space adding that burst of colour and celebration without fighting the restaurant itself.

Because for us, event design isn’t about bringing the same setup into every space.

It’s about reading the space, understanding the purpose, and creating something that belongs there.

Every venue has a character. The art of event design is knowing how to create a strong visual identity within it.

For this Indian Independence Day event, we used a floor to ceiling stage installation, considered proportions and bold event styling to create a sense of scale without overwhelming the venue.

From stage design and event decoration to the overall visual presence, every element was designed with the space in mind.

Because great event decor isn’t simply about making something bigger it’s about making the right design feel like it belongs.

A look back at an Independence Day installation we created last year, as we get closer to this year’s celebrations. 🇮🇳✨

We didn’t want to create just another photo opportunity. We wanted to create a feeling.

Flowing saffron, white and green transformed the space into an atmosphere that felt like an embrace of India, while a three-metre handcrafted mandala stood at its heart.

Each woven circle represented something different languages, cultures, regions, traditions and identities. Individually unique, yet together forming something beautifully whole.

And then came the most important detail: the empty space.

The artwork only became complete when someone stepped into it. Every visitor became part of the mandala, part of the story, and part of the celebration.

That’s how we approach design at TM Events not simply creating something beautiful, but creating something people can feel, connect with and remember. Indians in Sydney
