At the beautiful Bec and Rob wed.

They were kind, they knew what they wanted, they were lovely poeple to spend time with.

As their Celebrant, I felt honoured to lead them through their ceremony. Careful to give them their space when it was needed for their vows and ring exchange. But I remember us laughing alot - and for me, when Bec and I shared our joke and laughed at the signing table, it was a highlight.

I LOVE that moment when I get to see the relief, excitment and JOY in a brides eyes!

Just over a year ago, on this day it was raining - hard, just when we were supposed to start the ceremony. Sooooo we just decided to all have a drink and wait! No-one cared because we had a drink in hand, and were comfortable and excited.

As the Celebrant, it was fun to be involved in the colour scheme of the wedding. I always ask a couple what their colour scheme is, and if there is a colour they do or don't want me to wear. This time I was asked to wear beige/white to fit in with the wedding party.

I was thrilled! I love it when I get to go out and buy something to wear for a wedding and I felt like one of the 'cool kids'.

Lets face it, getting married in 2020 has been nothing short of a disaster! There have been tears, anger, frustration and the odd throwing cups up against a wall (I may be oversharing now!).....
