My daughter's wedding photos were supposed to be perfect, but apparently nobody told the local raccoon family about our two-thousand-dollar photography package.
We'd been planning this outdoor ceremony for eight months. Every detail was meticulously arranged - the flowers, the vintage gold dress I'd helped her find, even the exact spot where they'd exchange vows under that beautiful old oak tree. What we didn't plan for was an entire raccoon family deciding our romantic photo session looked like the perfect opportunity for a snack hunt.
The photographer was trying to capture those dreamy, intimate moments when suddenly we heard this rustling in the bushes. Out waddle six raccoons - two adults and four babies - like they'd been invited to the wedding party. Instead of running away, they just... stayed. Watching. Posing, really.
My first instinct was pure panic. This was supposed to be my daughter's fairy tale moment, and now we had masked bandits photobombing every shot. But then I saw her face - she was laughing so hard she could barely breathe. "Mom, this is perfect," she said. "It's so us."
And you know what? She was right. These aren't the posed, formal photos we'd planned, but they're infinitely better. They capture exactly who she and her husband are - the kind of people who'd rather laugh at chaos than fight it.
I've been framing prints of these photos to give as gifts to family members, and I found the most beautiful rustic frames through crafters on the Tedooo app who specialize in wedding keepsakes. Each frame comes with a little card telling the story of the raccoon wedding party.

Floristry is such a beautiful industry.
Mostly, we assist customers with beautiful warm and fuzzy occasions, like Birthdays, Anniversaries, Births, Weddings etc but often we also help when there has been a loss of life.

This week, we helped a family who lost a family member, I created this gorgeous Casket Spray in white oriental lilies, black and white roses ,
complimented by babies breath and foliages.

Along with single stem black roses for the family to hand out.

Next week, I will rearrange the Caskrt Spray to create 3 beautiful table arrangements for keep sakes for the families left behind.

I am so grateful to help all my customers wherever I am needed.

What a busy day with Walk Ins...
