Definitely a lot faster to 💥POP💥 than to create!

At .live popping party last week, this hot air balloon was still attached to its rigging, high up where no one could reach.

Once the public had left, and the clean up crew came in, they were able to bring the hot air balloon down…specially for and myself to POP!

Since Auslan day was on Monday, I thought this would be a fantastic time to share some clips from Deaf Festival 2025

We loved getting to enjoy and ‘s show before jumping into facepainting.

Both Bianca (.parties) and myself () started studying Auslan a few years ago because we wanted to extend our entertainment to Deaf children without needing to rely on an interpreter. This is why it was such a dream for the both of us to be invited by to Facepaint at their event. We truly appreciate our teachers and the Deaf community having the time and patience to educate us on their rich culture and language.

Because of this, we spent the whole day smiling and signing through the long queue of faces awaiting to be painted - I’m pretty sure we were non-stop the whole day! When it came time to pack up, our bodies were exhausted, but our hearts were full 💕

Did you know Auslan day was on Monday 13th April? 🤟🏼✨

We’ve felt so honoured to be a part of multiple Deaf events over the past year, bringing together our love for children’s entertainment and communicating in Auslan.

This video was captured at ‘s camp in march! We did Facepainting and giant bubbles

If you’re interested in learning Auslan, community courses facilitated by Deaf teachers are a wonderful way to start! Diploma of Auslan is also a part of the free tafe program!

We have been taught by Deaf teachers and community members. We care about signing accuracy and welcome feedback.
