Was great to be able to support sister Carly today, as she brought together local champions, businesses, mob and.community for the Reconciliation Breakfast here on Gubbi Gubbi / Kabi Kabi Country.

Congrats sis!!! What a morning, and thank you for always just getting things done.

And thanks everyone for the shares and hope you all took the florals home!!!

Last but not least, these little babies were handmade from palm husks - or the bums as I call them - and then woven together to create somehthng a little different for the table places.

Every one is different. None the same and the great thing is every bit of this arrangement - all of them - will dry naturally and last forever.

All of these arrangements foudn new homes after the event!!!

Florals included sourced banksia, sea holly, leucadendrons, verticordia, stirlingia, wax flower, statice, gums and lemon myrtle...all wrapped up in a palm base.

This week, I was invited to create some branded arrangements for the Queensland Reconciliation Awards. Always a challenge! Had fun mixing natural fibres for the palm bases, weavings and some pretty awesome fresh and dried natives. Some of these, I have been drying for the past months so, it was nice to get them into the mix.

Always lovely to see mob walking away with these creations as well!
