Yesterday marked the beginning of the Chinese Lunar New Year, the year of the Tiger, so it was a reminder of Matthew & Shi Ping’s wedding celebration at Pethers Rainforest Retreat. The ceremony not only included a magnificent bride in a traditional gown, but also included two traditional Chinese wedding traditions, a Chinese Tea Ceremony and a Tang Yuan ceremony, the swallowing whole of sweet balls in syrup. The ceremony was a joy for all present 💝
