A call out for Bone Marrow Donors. If you are between 18-45 we desperately need you!! Mark has Acute Myeloid Leukaemia with mutations. It is an aggressive form and he needs a Bone Marrow Transplant for his best chance of a cure. So far a donor has not turned up anywhere in the world and we are moving closer to transplant time. Time is critical.
Mark is Australian/English meaning his best chance of a donor could be right here in Australia. It’s possible that we are also looking for people with Aboriginal heritage. Only 1% of Australians are on the registry so we need everyone to share this post and spread the word to bump up that percentage. Please make an appointment at the blood bank to sign up. You don’t need to be a blood donor to be on the registry. You don’t need to be in Australia to be Marks perfect match. Marks donor is out there somewhere 🙏🏻 Please share widely.
