🥳 It's finally here! Every person I know has a soft spot for these gorgeous fluffy cows, and this weekend we can all get our fill at the Australian Highland Cattle Society Inc National Show at Bathurst Showground.
The event kicks off tomorrow with some fantastic educational opportunities, and we'll be there on Saturday and Sunday bringing plenty of colourful, glittery fun!
A special thank you to the talented Simone from Theprettypalettebysimone, who'll be tagging in on Saturday afternoon to help spread the sparkle. 💖

The first Highland cattle have arrived in Bathurst! 🐂

After more than 12 months of planning, the showgrounds are starting to come to life as exhibitors roll in from across Australia, cattle settle into their stalls, and the final preparations begin for the 2026 Australian Highland Cattle Society National Show.

This year’s show has attracted a record 83 head of Highland cattle, bringing together some of the very best cattle from breeders across the country for the biggest weekend on the Highland cattle calendar.

The main event is the judging of these magnificent cattle by a highly respected international guest judge across Saturday and Sunday, culminating in the crowning of the 2026 Supreme Highland Exhibit.

There’s plenty for spectators to enjoy across the weekend, including:

🐮 Iconic shaggy Highland cattle
🏆 National cattle judging
🐂 Junior handlers and parader competitions
🎪 Market stalls and rural businesses
☕ Food and beverages
🎨 Face painting and kids activities
🎶 Highland dancers, pipes and drums
🏅 Grand Parade of champion animals
🎭 Costume Classic

🎨✨ We had such a fantastic day at the 150th Wellington Show on Saturday! ✨🎨
So many happy little faces, glittery designs, and beautiful smiles from start to finish 💕 Thank you to everyone who stopped by for facepainting. It was lovely meeting so many local families and being part of such a great community event.
A big thank you to the organisers, Wellington Show Society NSW, for having us, and to everyone who waited patiently in the queue while we painted as many faces as we could!

The paints are packed, the glitter is ready, and we’re back on deck this weekend! 🎨✨
We’ll be at the Wellington Show's 150th anniversary tomorrow from 9am, then at My Kids Market on Sunday at the Bathurst Indoor Sports Stadium from 9am–12pm. We’re so excited to get back into it and see some familiar faces again! 💖

✨️🎨My first Anaconda Stores Bathurst Adventure club night, and what a blast! I saw so many great deals being picked up, loads of happy faces, and can you guess what my most popular design was of the night? A crazy number of scratches! 😂
