It was an unforgettable night celebrating Jamaican talent, culture, and storytelling—proud to have walked the red carpet alongside Peter Andre and connected with the brilliant Fredi behind the scenes.

We’re hoping to organise a community watch party in Sydney so we can experience this film together, right here in our city.

If you haven’t seen Jafaican yet, we highly recommend it! As proud Jamaicans, we fully endorse this film.🇯🇲

Jafaican was shot predominantly in Jamaica, employed local cast and crew, and invested directly into the Jamaican economy. It highlights our music, our people, and our humour in a way that made us smile. Yes, it’s a comedy—but behind the laughs is a real love for Jamaican culture.

Big respect to director Fredi Kruga Nwaka for bringing this vision to life and ensuring Jamaican talent was front and centre. Peter Andre thank you for showing up with heart and respect for the culture. It was a joy to see legends like Oliver Samuels and Sizzla Kalonji Music on screen—authentic voices who helped ground the film in Jamaican reality.

We encourage everyone to watch the film before forming opinions. Let’s celebrate representation, creativity, and storytelling that puts Jamaica on the global stage.

From our humble beginnings in Darwin in March 2013 to our increasing presence in Sydney. Jamaican Delight are authentic and traditional caterers of Jamaican food. We formed the business due to our passion for our food and culture and to bring an authentic taste of Jamaica to Australia and also to bring a taste of home to those native to the Island. We can currently be found at selected markets and festivals around Sydney, as well as catering for private events.
