One of my favourite bouquets I was commissioned to create was this bouquet created from treasured keepsakes of the brides and that of the brides father who had passed.
At our first appointment she brought a box of her father’s clothes which were predominantly shirts. Choosing pastel colours I suggested cloth roses be created. I encouraged her to chat to Mum in order to collect keepsakes from the family and items she’d treasured.
The bride brought back a bounty which included her Grandfathers fob watch, her fathers watch and collectible footy pins, and many trinkets. She also included her own jewellery from childhood and other treasures.
This really was a delight to create and has been treasured since.
