Miners Rest Tavern

There’s something special about our b**r garden when the sun comes out. ☀️🍻

Familiar faces, new friendships, kids playing, mates catching up and conversations that turn into hours.

As the warmer days roll in, it’s these little moments that remind us what a local pub is really about. Bringing people together ❤️

Our deepest condolences to the entire Payne family on the loss of Paddy. Our thoughts are especially with Stevie, a much-loved face here at the Tavern. Thinking of you all and sending love and strength during this very sad time. 🤍

Vale Paddy Payne Snr 🕊️

It is with great sadness that Racing Victoria (RV), the Australian Trainers Association, the Victorian Jockeys Association and Ballarat Turf Club acknowledge the passing of legendary Ballarat horseman, Paddy Payne Snr, aged 90.
